Install Claude Code

Open a terminal inside VS Code and run:

npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code

Sign up for Apify and grab your API token

Free tier is enough to get started. You will paste this token into the workspace in the next step.

Set up the workspace

In the VS Code terminal:

cd competitor-analysis-template
cp .env.example .env

Open .env and paste your Apify token where marked.

Launch Claude Code

Still in the terminal:

claude

Run /prime first, then the competitor analysis command.

Power move — add the alias (optional, Mac and Linux)

Launch Claude Code in one keystroke. Run this once:
